WORKBENCH: Russian GNW Artillery

Just a quick update as work is busy at the minute.

I am currently finishing off the bulk of the Russian artillery.

There are 6 light 3pdr guns, and 3 heavy 12 pdr guns, plus crews.  The plan is for three classes of Russian artillery:

6 light 3pdrs to support each infantry brigade
3 heavy batteris to use as immovable position batteries
4 medium field artillery batteries (using the Pendrakn 6pdr models)

The 6pdrs will be done at a later stage, as will a civilian team and limber "project" to cover both sides.

Stage one was to prep and then spray them with army painter red:

Stage two was obviously painting them!  Stage three was to use army painter dark tone on them all:

The next stage will be a coat of matt varnish, then of course rapid basing.

So the Russians will end up with a total of 13 batteries.  For the Swedes I'm planning just 4x 3pdr batteries and 2s 6pdr field batteries!

Next up, and currently starting to make an appearance on the painting table....60 cossacks!
